Richland Pasco Kennewick

Tailoring somatic breathwork wellness programs specific to the needs of the non-profit, their staff, volunteers, and the community members they serve.

Just like other programs, this is not a one-sized fits all approach and why I mention creating a collaborative partnership.

As a social worker with a decade of experience, I know firsthand the costs associated with burnout and high turnover rates.

I am sure we could sit here and talk for hours on the pros and cons but I believe we have already fallen into that trap because burnout and high turnover rates are not a new topic.

If you would like to see how somatic breathwork practices could not only help to support the health and well-being of your staff and volunteers; however, to also help with funding, let's connect!

I recently participated in my first somatic breathwork session with Embrace the Darkness LLC, and I couldn't be more grateful for the incredible facilitator, Stephen, who guided us through this journey with kindness and encouragement.

Entering the session, I wasn't sure what to expect, but from the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and supported. The facilitator took the time to explain the process thoroughly, easing my nerves I had about trying something new.

Throughout the session, their gentle guidance helped me connect deeply with my breath and body in ways I hadn't experienced before. They created a safe space for exploration, allowing me to release tension, emotions, and energy that I didn't even realize I was holding onto.

By the end of the session, I felt lighter, more grounded, and profoundly connected to myself. It was a truly transformative experience that I will carry with me long after the session ended.

I wholeheartedly recommend this somatic breathwork session to anyone seeking healing, self-discovery, or simply a deeper connection to their body and breath.

I had never done somatic breath work before and I really enjoyed it!

Though I wasn't sure what to expect, and I got light headed at one time, I trusted the process and was amazed at how much my lungs can handle!

The intense breaths and then relaxed breathing was so helpful and calming.

Stephen made space for me to just BE, to take up space and not judge whatever journey my body was going through, and I need more of that in my life.

I would highly recommend Stephen as a grounded, friendly, intentional, and calm professional to work with for somatic breath work 😊👍🏽

Working with Stephen was an incredibly beautiful experience. He was fully present with me which allowed him to sense when I needed space and when I needed some guidance.

His calm, open and respectful energy, presence and voice allowed me to feel confident enough and at peace so I could let my body express what needed to be expressed without any judgement or expectations.

The session went smoothly and I feel like he is absolutely professional and serious about this work. I felt safe, as well as heard and seen, and at the same time, he knew how to “push” the part(s) of me that needed to be shaken in a way so the revelation and taking of consciousness took place after the expression cycle.

I am extremely grateful to know him and to have experienced a SomatIQ Breathwork session with him. It was my first session and I felt home.

Forever thankful for this practice and for people like Stephen who know how to bring their own unique touch to make the experience even more powerful, profound and honest.

Stephen has a very calm and confident demeanor that made me comfortable for my first ever breath work session.

A great experience overall!

Connection

For your life

Community is something that in and of itself can provide healing!

People access services and programs at non-profits as a way to ask for help.

The more times they connect with the non-profit, staff, and volunteers, the more connected they start to feel.

That connection can turn into a sense of community which can also help provide healing they never asked for.

Growth Through Discomfort

Growth trough discomfort is a dynamic process that involves facing challenges, adapting to new information, exploring one's limits, and developing resilience.

It requires a willingness to step outside of your comfort zone, confront adversity, and engage in self-reflection.

Ultimately, the discomfort becomes a catalyst for positive change and personal growth and development.
